Does the State have a say in who gets married? Should it intrude and how should it decide who can and cannot get married? Does it have a say in sex? That is the core of the argument. While I have not posted it there is another article out today that shows the real argument in it’s clearest form. The New Yorker has an article out today “What is it like to date your daddy?”. In it the article talks to a young lady getting ready to move to NJ and marry her Dad. I refused to post the link but want to let you know that this is out there. When society begins to say everything is OK you will find that boundaries are hard to define and a number of innocent folks will get hurt. I do not think this will end well in the courts. I do not think this will end well for society either. The coming tsunami will not be good.
